The focus of our poultry breeding is on fattening hens bred from French Bresse chickens. These chickens are raised and fattened exclusively outdoors, all year round. Housed in stationary or mobile wooden huts, the location of the flocks can be changed easily. The feed consists mainly of fresh leftovers of vegetables and fruits or of our own cereal mixtures.
For egg production, about 3000 hens are held in spacious henhouses with roofed scratching-rooms and green areas to run about in.

In addition to chickens for meat production, we annually keep approx. 1000 geese and 800 ducks outdoors, which are mainly brought to market at Martinmas or Christmas.

Besides chickens, geese and ducks, we also breed quails and pigeons, delicacies which our customers can enjoy in our restaurant.
